How to Make Lemon + Ginger Tea
You’re looking at one of my favorite warm beverages, a the simple lemon + ginger tea. It’s the perfect drink to sip on first thing in the morning to wake up your system or to enjoy after a meal to aid digestion. Not to mention, this tea is packed with Vitamin C, which is brilliant for fighting off those dreaded fall colds and to keep your skin glowing with the seasonal weather change.
Also, I highly recommend this tea if you have an upset stomach, indigestion or if you’re experiencing nausea. There is a lovely hit of ginger in there that will help soothe most stomach problems and inflammation to help you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Overall, it’s wellness in a cup!
Put some water in your kettle to boil. While the water is boiling, squeeze the juice from 1/2 of a lemon and grate 1/2 tbsp of fresh ginger. Place both ingredients in a mug then top with the boiled water. Let steep 1-2 minutes and it’s ready!
PS. If you have a sweet-tooth, a touch of honey would be a perfect addition!
