Beauty Breakfast Bowl
An overnight oat bowl is a great way to start your day because it’s packed full of fibre + skin-boosting goodness!
Fibre helps to cleanse the bowels. TMI, but as my friend @lifebyleese says ‘the more you go the more you glow’ good gut health is the basis of clear skin.
Oats provide silica to help maintain skin elasticity while the chia seeds are rich in plant based omega-3s which help to moisturize the skin from the inside! AND the almonds and cashew milk delivers an abundance of vitamin e to help skin-rejuvenation.
Adding fruit to your bowl is only going to add extra nutrients. So don’t be afraid of this natural sugar! Right now I’m loving mango it’s packed with vitamin c and antioxidants to help protect the skin from sun and pollution damage!
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s to be mindful of what you’re putting into your body. Food isn’t just a means of satiating hunger, it’s a means of healing from the inside out! #blisswithkris #beautyfood
